In Loving Memory of Gary Vedovitch.
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gary, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on August 11, 2024 at the age of 77. His enduring love for his family and passion for sports defined his life, and his memory will forever be treasured by those who knew him.
Born on August 2nd, 1947 in Durban, South Africa, Gary was a devoted family man. He met his beloved wife, Rosalind 45 years ago and shared 44 years of a loving and happy marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and memorable family gatherings. As a father to Kylynn, Alan, and Lee-Ann, Gary was their constant support and guide, always encouraging them in their pursuits and celebrating their achievements.
Outside of his professional and family life, Gary found joy and relaxation in watching and playing sports. His passion for rugby and golf was contagious, and he spent countless weekends watching games with friends and family. He valued the camaraderie and the memories; finding satisfaction in the sports he loved and played with the many the trophies he received.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Rosalind; his children, Kylynn, Alan, and Lee-Ann; and his grandchildren, Kiara, Slade, Skei, Kieran, Braidy, Ewan, and Beau who were his pride and joy. He also leaves behind a legacy of kindness, integrity, and a spirit of generosity that touched everyone he met.
A celebration of Gary's life will be held on August 21st at McCormick & Son Mortuaries in Laguna Hills.
Gary will be dearly missed, but his love, wisdom, and the joy he brought into the lives of others will remain in our hearts forever.
