In Loving Memory of Ghamartaj (Guity) Afrasiabi
Ghamartaj (Guity) Afrasiabi, a remarkable soul, was born on July 15, 1949, in the enchanting city of Shiraz, and peacefully passed away on November 20, 2023, at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo after a courageous 13-year battle with cancer. She called Laguna Niguel home
and lived there surrounded by the beauty she cherished.
Guity was the cherished daughter of Habib and Zinat, and on December 4, 1974, she united in marriage with Homayoon. Together, they crafted a life filled with love and joy, raising two wonderful children, Ali and Yasaman.
Born in the heart of Shiraz, Guity spent 27 years surrounded by the love of her family. She then journeyed to Tehran, where she spent 40 years building a home and creating a legacy of warmth and compassion. In her final chapter, she embraced Orange County, residing in Laguna
Niguel for 5 years, leaving an indelible mark on the family.
Guity's passions reflected the vibrancy of her spirit. From the simple joy of shopping to finding fulfillment in meticulous cleaning, she took pride in managing everything, including the bonds she shared with those around her. Her home was a haven of love, reflecting her dedication to
family and friends.
Guity is survived by her devoted husband, Homayoon, and her loving children, Ali and Yasaman. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Badri, Pooran, Parvin, Homa, and her brothers Abbas and Bijan. Guity's legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate
to know her.
A memorial service to celebrate Guity's life will be held on December 3 at 10:00 AM at El Toro Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited to join together in honoring her memory and sharing stories of a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) , a cause close to Guity's heart. You may follow this link ( https://foundation.choc.org/?form=donate ) to access the donation page.
