Obituary

With heavy hearts and enduring admiration, we remember Gianna Rosa Diluzio-Majzler, who departed this world on June 24, 2026 at her beloved home. She was born on October 20, 1955 in Culver City, California, embarking on a remarkable journey that would see her touch countless lives with her boundless creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering zest for life.

Gianna’s earliest days were marked by a deep curiosity and passion for the arts, foreshadowing the inspiring woman she would become. Through her academic pursuits at Golden West College and Santa Barbara University, Gianna cultivated her gifts and intellect, laying foundations that would support a lifetime of ambition and artistry.

To those who knew her, Gianna was described time and again as a true artist and her creative heart never ceased to amaze. Her inspiration seemed inexhaustible, infusing every pursuit and relationship with vibrancy and originality. This fusion of vision and drive was perhaps most evident in her proudest professional achievement: founding Gianna Rose Atelier. What began at her kitchen table grew, through her determination and innovation, into a flourishing enterprise with annual production exceeding three million dollars. Her creations captivated customers nationwide, earning her features in numerous magazines and establishing her as an entrepreneur of rare tenacity and flair.

Yet, Gianna’s business acumen was only one facet of a life lived expansively. She harbored a profound love of travel, cherishing opportunities to explore the world’s beauty. Paris and England held especially dear places in her adventurous heart. Every journey, whether near or far, became for Gianna a new canvas upon which to paint memories and inspiration, each destination adding color to the splendid mosaic of her life.

Gianna was, above all, a person who believed passionately in living fully. Her zest for experience, her passion for life, and her determination to meet every challenge with courage, sowed inspiration in all who knew her. Gianna was a real fighter, right up to the very end.

She is lovingly remembered by her father, Giuseppe Diluzio; her cherished daughter, Allissandra; and her devoted husband, John. Gianna’s legacy is carried forward not only by her family and friends, but by every soul moved by her art, touched by her enterprise, or buoyed by her infectious passion for living.

In gentle remembrance, we also honor her brothers, Jon and Ralphel, who preceded her in passing.

Gianna Rosa Diluzio-Majzler’s story is one of brilliant color and enduring light—a testament to what can be achieved when courage meets creativity, and when the heart insists upon making the most of every single day. Though her presence is profoundly missed, the gifts she shared with the world remain woven into the fabric of every life she touched.
