Glenn Arakaki passed away on November 22, 2015 at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife Christa, sons Matthew and Andrew, parents Irene and Stanley, and sister Diane Arakaki. He is also survived by his stepson Erik, stepdaughter Dana, her husband Nathan, and their children Alex, Ben, Bradley and Sam.
Glenn was born on August 27, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, he married Christa Scott of La Crescenta, California, and resided in Honolulu, Hawaii and then Irvine, California.
Recognized for his leadership, Glenn served as Regional Bond Manager at The Hartford for the past 5 years.
Glenn and his family have lived in Irvine for the past 18 years where Glenn has been a mainstay in the community. He was a beloved baseball and soccer coach for many years where his infectious smile and personality, along with his love of sports, will be remembered by all. Glenn also loved to travel, play golf, find new adventures, spend time with close friends, and more than anything loved and cherished his beautiful family. Glenn was a fun-loving, friendly, humble and respected man with a warmth and grace about him that will be greatly missed.
