Grace Anne Martin went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 11th 2024, at the age of 83 years old. Anne was born in Lincoln Nebraska on August 6th 1941. Born to Noah and Mildred Bostock, She was the fourth born of eight children, she decribed her upbringing in Nebraska as happy wondrous years in the many stories she wrote about her childhood. Anne moved to California with her husband and daughter Elizabeth in 1959 where they settled and had five more children. Daniel, David, Steven, Jesse and Loretta. Anne worked several jobs while raising 6 children and eventually pursued her dream of becoming a teacher. She recieved her Masters of Education from The Claremont colleges Where she met her second husband Chuck. Anne was passionate about teaching and taught English Literature at Alta loma High School for 11 years. After retiring, Anne and Chuck shared their love of the sea and lived on their sailboat as they explored the coast of Mexico for the next 5 years and traveled through Europe, eventually settling in Laguna Woods for the duration of their lives. Anne loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren and great grand children, she would throw the best family gatherings  especially during the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was an amazing cook, her prime rib and yorkshire puddings are legendary,  her spirit and energy were the life of the party. As her Dad Noah used to say, "that Gracie is a real live wire." Anne also loved her yearly family camping trips, the Bostock family & friend reunions at Campland were quite the soiree filled with lots of food and campfire stories but mostly just enjoying and sharing her love of family and the most important gift of all, time together which she valued greatly.

Anne is predeceased by her  husband Charles Martin. Anne is survived by her sons Dan, Dave, Steve and Jesse and her daughter Lori. Her oldest daughter Liz passed in 2010. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren and by her sisters Mary Hofstad and Kathy Carroll.

A Celebration of Life for Grace Anne will be held by her family in January, time and place TBA
