We are very sad to announce that Harold Levine passed away on March 22, 2017.He lived an extremely full life and was 98 years of age.Harold now joins his beloved wife, Gloria, who passed away in 2014.Harold is survived by his two sons, Arthur and Stewart, his daughter-in-laws, Karen and Lauren, and his grandchildren, Steven, Alexandra, David, and Amy.
Harold was born to Esther and Hyman Levine in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up with his sisters Helen and Ann.Harold was married to Gloria in 1952 and they had an extremely happy 62 years together, until she passed away in 2014.They were inseparable and were totally committed to each other and their family. After retirement, Harold and Gloria were able to fulfill their lifetime dream of traveling throughout Europe, before moving to Laguna Woods, California, to start the next phase of their life.Although he lived in Brooklyn, New York for most of his life, he came to know Laguna Woods, California as his new home.
Harold proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and will be buried on March 30, 2017 at the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego.
Harold will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him.He was a kind, gentle man who was very easy going and had a very pleasant sense of humor.
