Helen Doumas

Doumas, Helen born October 23, 1921 went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2013 at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by husband, Speros A. Doumas: parents Pasquale and Anna Stellini; siblings Vincent Stellini, Lucy Burdick and Thomas Stellini.

Helen was survived by son Speros A. Doumas II and wife Callie; daughter Alexandra Visnyei; and grandchildren Deanna Doumas, Chloe Doumas and Tyler Doumas.

She was a resident of Life Care Center of Vista for two years. She previously lived in Laguna Woods Village, California.

Helen worked as a bank teller for forty years and was affectionately known as "The Fastest Teller in the West".

She was known as a strong woman of great faith. She was an excellent, hardworking, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

Helen was well loved by all for her jovial disposition.

Those who knew her will remember Helen's unique sayings. Some of which are:

" When it comes to life, you've gotta take the good, the bad and the ugly."

"Opa";

"Did you evah?"; &

"Sugaman".

Helen enjoyed playing cards & bingo on a daily basis.

Helen will be sorely missed by all.
