Born Helen Louise Binkley in California in 1924. The daughter of Florence and Roy Binkley. She married Milo "Mike" Milford Kensrue in 1944.
They moved to Playa Del Rey, CA in 1945. Their first born was Steven, followed by Karen and then Douglas Kensrue.
She loved the beach, liked to play tennis and golf, a lifelong avid bridge player it became her passion in the later years.
Helen instilled a love and caring for all animals, wild or domestic. She tolerated Steves perpetual capturing of wildlife which more often than not would get loose in the house. Her children and their children continue that tradition of care today.
Loving and compassionate was her life.
They moved to Tustin Ca in 1959. After the kids were grown Mike and Helen lived in several locations from the desert to the sea, settling eventually in Dana Point where they remained and Mike passed on in 2008.
At 94 years of age on January 21st, 2019 her time had come and she passed peacefully with a devout family present.
Helen is survived by two of her children, Steven and Karen. Also eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Doug passed on in 2011
Her survivors and friends will miss her greatly.
