It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Nhan Thi Ngo on Sunday February 28, 2021 at the age of 88.

Helen Nhan Thi Ngo entered this world on May 14, 1932 and left her earthly tent on February 28, 2021.She was the beloved mother of son Lam (wife Loan) and daughters Thuy and Diep; beloved grandmother of Ha (husband Drew), Brian (wife Sophie), Diem (husband Adam), Deanna, Eric, and Huy; and beloved great-grandmother of Lillian, Carson, and Finnley.Helen Nhan was a fiercely independent woman who inspired those blessed to know her.

She lived life on her terms, fearless and always striving for excellence.As a successful entrepreneur and trailblazer throughout her life, and more recently a Laguna Woods Village resident and a Saddleback College graduate, Helen Nhan was a wonderful friend and inspiration to many.She was a lifelong student of books and of life; her idea of retirement was to pursue a college degree, which she proudly earned at the age of 80.Until her final days, she continued to sew, knit, enjoy her favorite Vietnamese meals, and cherish her family.Those of us fortunate enough to be in her inner circle will forever miss her guidance and generosity.
