Henrietta Tucker was born in Savannah, Georgia. In her teens she relocated to New York City where she met and married Joseph Peele from whom three children were born; Joseph, Irving and Angela.

In 1957 a neighbor began giving her bible study lessons and Henrietta Tucker accepted " The Lord Jesus Christ" as her personal Saviour. She then joined the Mount Vernon Seven Day Adventist Church located in Mount Vernon, New York.

Henrietta Tucker worked for 27 years as a licensed Practical Nurse; administering to the sick and helping to support her family.

In 1984 she married again, to Gordon Tucker and relocated to California.

Along with the love of her immediate family, her fulfilling joy was the love for and from her extended church family. To see the smiles and receive the hugs on Saturdays, and be called "Grammy" by the children would light up her life, it would encourage her and let her know that her living was not in vail.

Mom went to sleep in the loving arms of her oldest son, Joseph. Now she sleeps in the loving arms of Jesus.
