Obituary

Henry Perez was born on March 4, 1930, and passed peacefully in his sleep on April 13, 2020 in his Mission Viejo home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas & Carlota, and his son Gary. Henry was one of 7 children. Henry met the love of his life, Lucy, in Los Angeles in 1950. After a 2 year courtship, Henry and Lucy were married in the summer of 1952 and had 3 children. .

After serving in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, retiring in 1969, Henry continued his aerospace career until he suffered a stroke at the age of 70. It was at this time that Henry discovered he had a passion for painting landscapes and putting together puzzles.

Henry's greatest pleasure in life were his years spent with Lucy, followed by time with his children, and most of all spending time with and talking about his grandchildren.

Henry was extremely grateful when taking our family vacations trips cross country to California to visit family, camping trips or enjoying college football.

Henry treasured time spent with family and friends. He was very generous with his time for others, always putting them first.

Henry is survived by his wife, Lucy, daughter, Helen (Jim), and son David Sr. (Connie), 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Service information will be announced at a later date. Henry will be laid to rest next to his son, Gary.
