Herbert (Herbie) Joseph Marris, 53, passed away at 3:04 p.m. on May 13, 2017 at his home in Foothill Ranch, Ca.Visitation for family and friends will be held on May 19, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at McCormick & Son Mortuaries, 25000 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. The family will schedule a celebration of Herbie's life at a later date to be announced.

Herbie was born in Stanton, CA on October 4, 1963 to Junior and Narcessa Marris. He attended Loara High School in Anaheim and worked as a sales manager in the electronics industry. He married Kristina Robertson on July 6, 2002. His two passions were his family and baseball. Herbie was a beloved coach for over 17 years with the OC Aces and Boltz baseball clubs, Lake Forest Little League, and many other local teams. He was a kind and genuine soul who welcomed everyone with a big smile and open arms. He could effortlessly make a stranger feel like family with his welcoming and vibrant energy. He had a great sense of humor that drew everybody into him. He was a bright light, gone too soon.

Herbie is preceded in death by his father, Junior Marris; mother, Narcessa Marris (married name); and brother Larry Marris. Herbie is survived by his wife, Kristina; daughters, Jacqueline and Makayla; son, Dylan; brother, Edwin Molina; sister Sheila Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
