Hortencia Ramirez born October 24, 1941 in Colombia, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 6, 2020 in Laguna Hills, California. Born to Francisco Orrego and Mother Mary Arango, she had two siblings Nolmy and Dora.

After coming to the United States, Hortencia found worked hard and found success as a business entrepreneur in fashion Design and Manual Arts. She enjoyed painting, dancing, and singing.

Hortencia's greatest pleasure was her involvement in the Catholic Church, where she received many recognitions for her unlimited generosity from different charities. Her generosity led to recognition from the Lions Club and Amiser for her work in the community. Her only disappointment was not speaking English but was able to get over it.

She is survived by (son) Hugo and wife his Constanza, (daughter) Adriana Perry and her husband Brad, (daughter) Monica Ramirez and her husbandWilly, and (son) Ricardo his wife Monica, and nine grandchildren Jonathan, Felipe, Giovanni, Carolina, Nicholas, Paola, Juan Camilo, Andres and Catalina.

Hortencia will be dearly missed by her family in Colombia and especially by her friends Magolita, Rosalbita, Jeannette and Elodia among others.

Services will take place at McCormick & Son Mortuaries on June 11, 2020 at 11:00 am via zoom the link is below:
