Huiberta Beverly (Scharrenberg) Pinarija, 81, passes away in her sleep Friday, October 20, 2023 at Laguna Woods Home. Huiberta Beverly, AKA Beppie or Bev, was born February 16, 1942, in Deventer, The Netherlands, to mother Stijntje (Van Mannen) and Hendricus Scharrenberg.

Bev worked at several places as an insurance agent and broker. In post retirement, she worked at the front desk of the Laguna Woods Tower.

Bev was a loving, caring and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother (Oma) and great-grandmother (G-Oma). She also had many dear friends.

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband, Gerard Pinarija, son Richard, married to Gina, and daughter Silvia, married to Steve Ball. Step sister Lainey. Grandchildren Shawn, Jonathan and Kyle Ball, Ashley Watson, Chad and Ryan Pinarija and Savanna Pinarija. Great grandchildren Hayden, Landon, Noa, Lainey Ball, Conner and Addison Watson, and Blake Pinarija.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers Frits, Gerrit and Hennie Scharrenberg; half sibling Slavi Scharrenberg and her beloved youngest son Robert G. Pinarija.

Bev & Gerard's pleasures din life were going on cruises and going to Pala Casino. She loved to dance with her beloved husband. Her pride and joy were her family, friends and best friend Miep Guilders and their fur baby, Jojo!!

Services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 11:00am at McCormick & Son Mortuary, 25000 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA followed by a reception. Pastor Paul Finley will be performing the service.
