Iona Marie Roberts was born on May 13, 1926 and passed away on June 25, 2016 at the age of 90 in Laguna Niguel, California. She is survived by her
daughters, Catherine Mikels and Mary Roberts as well as her grandchildren: Richard Morris, Veronica Morris, Kyle Tanaka and Kristine Tanaka.
Iona was born in Cresco, Iowa and in 1946 she married her husband, Willard "Pete" Roberts in St. Paul, Minnesota. Together they moved to California to start
their lives and raise their family. They were married for 58 years. Iona loved her family and hosting holiday gatherings. She loved to garden and work in the
sunshine. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
