Janet Pauline Walker, 80, of Laguna Hills, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 29, 2022, in a residential care facility, in Mission Viejo. Born November 21, 1941, New Boston, MI, the daughter of Olin Edward and Willie Lorena (McCormick) Bain.

After her father passed away in 1951, Janet moved to Orange County in 1954 with her mother, older brother and younger sister. She attended Anaheim and Garden Grove high schools. As a teenager, she worked at the Gem theater in Garden Grove and later her first major job, in the office, was with a shoe manufacturer, Randolph Rubber Co in Garden Grove. That followed with employment in January 1970 at Disneyland in the Finance Division where she met her husband while they were both employed there. She retired in 1987. Jan enjoyed, family holiday gatherings, camping, antiquing, and vacation travel. In 2010, she started a decade's quest of genealogy on her maternal McCormick ancestors.

Jan is survived by her husband 0f 51 years, Donald E. Walker, of Laguna Hills. They were married, October 1970, in Garden Grove. She is also survived by her son Anthony "Tony" & Elisa Walker of Arlington, WA, half sister Betty J. (McCormick) Neese of Banning, 1 ^st cousin Paul McCormick & wife Carol of Sacramento and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was predeceased by her brother Lonnie Bain, sister Linda (Bain) Glover & husband Doug, half sisters Bobby Lou (Bain) Reaume & husband Ray, Betty Sue (Bain) Mathews & husband Jim, and brother-in-law Dwain J. Neese. Also a baby half brother Russell Boyd Kearby in 1934.

There will be a graveside service Tuesday, June 14, 10:00 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside. McCormick & Son Mortuary) no relation to deceased), Laguna Hills, assisted the husband with all the arrangements and decisions, which were great assistance to him.
