Jay William Hunger, 73, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo Ca, Jay was born on May 4, 1943 in Eugene, Oregon. After graduating high school, he joined the US Army and fought in Vietnam in the 116th Engineer Battalion. After the army, Jay went to work as a manufactures representative in the Hardware industry. He worked tirelessly in this capacity for over 35 years. The last eight years with Creeden Sales out of Chicago, Illinois. Retirement was not an option for Jay. He enjoyed working and dabbling in Real Estate. In his free time, he enjoyed his flower garden full of birds, sports, and travel.
He will be greatly missed by his family, co-workers and neighbors. Jay is survived by his domestic partner Eneida (Nelly), two sisters Glenna and Carol, a son Jay Jr., and his adopted family Valerie, Joe, Sophie and Sarah.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2 pm at McCormick and Son Mortuary 25002 Moulton Parkway Laguna Hills, Ca. 92653. Reception to follow.
