Jean Frances Middleton, born December 23, 1930 of Riverside, California, died at Riverside University Medical Center on Saturday, April 24, 2021 of complications following a stroke.
She worked for Interstate Electronics for 28 years as a technical writer and editor. Jean was widowed in 1964by her then-husband Irvin Wilford Shelman, She had four children, and lost her son, Gary Bert Shelman in 1999 and her daughter, Janice Ruth Shelman, died in 2020. She is survived by her son, Don Shelman,Daughter-in-law Marion, son, Eric Shelman, and daughter-in-law Linda, and grandchildren Tiffani, Danielle, Eden, and Sean,She is survived by her niece and nephew, Lynn and Scott.
Jeans greatest pleasure in life was the years with Ed Middleton, whom she married in 1973, followed by her children and most of all spending time and talking about her grandchildren.
Jean loved the time spent with friends and family. She was a very generous woman. She would give you her last penny if you asked and unlimited time which is priceless.
No services will be held as the family is widely scattered.There may be a Zoom remembrance. Jean will be cremated according to her wishes.
