Jeffrey Alan Flowers passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 64. Jeff was the kind of person that would walk into a room shining with charisma, confidence, and a beautiful smile. He was full of life and had the special gift to conversate with anyone and everyone. Jeff loved to talk! His genuineness and kindness left an indelible impression on everyone that he met.
Jeff's dream was to move to California. His dream came true when he received a job promotion and relocation opportunity. He loved to take long drives with his wife, Toia along the Pacific Coast Highway to see the ocean. It brought him such joy and peace. Football and basketball were his favorite sports. He loved sports! Ask anyone! He coached from the sofa, Jeff loved his family and loved being a husband and a father. He was blessed with a beautiful family for 24 years.
Jeffrey Alan Flowers was born on November 6, 1959 in Logansport, Indiana. He was the son of Fred and Thelma Flowers (deceased) and stepfather to Tyler Rankin(deceased), He is survived by his wife, Toia Rankin-Flowers, two sisters, Joni Flowers and Melanie Tate; two nieces, Cierra Merz and Kennady Tate (Melanie); two nephews, Kevin Tate Jr. and Devin Tate (Melanie); and Kevin Tate Sr. (brother in-law).
Jeffrey is also survived by his extended family of his four beloved aunts, one uncle, numerous cousins, and a whole host of loved ones and friends.
Jeff graduated from Logansport High School in 1978. He attended Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, and played wide receiver for the Cardinals. He was employed in the Information Technology industry for over 40 years. During his career, he was a recipient of many corporate awards and honors and served as a mentor to many. In Ohio, he worked alongside his wife in community engagement activism and political leadership initiatives.
Jeff touched the hearts of many people in his life and his love and generous support of family and friends will never be forgotten. Jeff has created memories with all of us that will last a lifetime.
