Jesus Lopez Gatdula, born October 15, 1930 in the Philippines, passed away Monday, 13 January 2025 after battling cancer for the last several months.

Jess, as he is known to his family and friends, retired from the US Navy and Lockheed Martin.  He was actively involved in the Southern California Philippines U.S. Veteran's Association.  Breakfast at Mollie's was a favorite, especially when accompanied by family.  He enjoyed life to its fullest, traveling with his family and on his own.

He was the beloved husband of his first wife Dina for 61 years who predeceased him in 2018.  He is survived by his wife Celia Villarin Gatdula.  His children:  oldest son Michael Gatdula and his wife Marilou; daughter Lauribel Lowe and her husband Keith; youngest son J.J. Gatdula and his wife Becky.  His grandchildren:  Anthony Gatdula, Donica Gatdula, Kennedy Lowe and his wife Hannah, Chelsea Gatdula, Alyssya Medalia and her husband Albert.  His great grandchild Cayden Lowe.  His stepchildren:  Jean Villarin Tuazon and Joseph Villarin Tuazon.  His step grandchildren:  Joseph Villarin Tuazon and Mary Villarin Tuazon.

We will miss his laughter, smile and stories that filled everyone's heart with love.
