Jim Carr passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2024 at the age of 92. He was born in Texas to I.T. Carr and Jimmie McKee.

His family moved to CA in 1945 and settled in Chino. He graduated from Fullerton High School in 1950.

He was employed at Hughes Aircraft in Long Beach and when he left Hughes, he worked at Disneyland. He retired from Disneyland in1999 and then enjoyed traveling with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Beth, of 56 years, two sons and two daughters. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary, and son, Bill.

He was active in the Boy Scouts serving as an Explorer Scout Leader. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting with his father-in-law. Beth and Jim divided their time between San Clemente and the desert. Prior to moving to Southern California, they spent 17 years in Reno, Nevada.
