Jocelyn Suzanne West, born April 29, 1970 in Tulsa, OK passed peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023. Jocelyn was lovingly known as Pooh to her husband and Ma to her son Ryan. Born to Patrick and Gloria Johnston, she has two siblings Lorena Johnston and Patrick Johnston. Jocelyn moved to California in 1984 with her parents and siblings, where she met the love of her life Scott West. After courtship, Scott and Jocelyn were married in the winter of 1992 and had one child - Ryan.

During the Wests' marriage, they lived in San Bernardino, Arroyo Grande, and finally in Huntington Beach, CA. Jocelyn worked for several companies during her career as a project manager. She is survived by her husband Scott, son Ryan, mother Gloria, brother Patrick, sister Lorena, sister-in-law Valerie, niece Lauren, nephews Taylor, Drake, Keaton, Cameron and her pup Ivy.

Jocelyn's great pleasure in life was being together with Scott and Ryan. She was their biggest fan and loved to go to sporting events, whether professional or Ryan's youth leagues growing up. She was always ready to cheer for her favorite team on to victory.

Jocelyn also enjoyed reading and walks in Central Park. Her and Ivy loved to walk around the lake and see the horses and visit dog park. Jocelyn always said the park was so peaceful and it didn't matter what trail she took it was the best for that day.

The family plans to have a celebration of life sometime in the spring/summer to celebrate Jocelyn.
