John Lamberson passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the age of 83 at his home in Mission Viejo, CA. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lamberson, daughter and son-in-law, Tami and David Weyrick, Mission Viejo, CA, daughter Melodie Lamberson and sons Todd and Travis Lamberson of TN, grandson Michael of NJ, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Breanna and Mitch Harrod, Azusa, CA, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kiara and Darin McCoy, Lancaster, CA, granddaughter Lexi Weyrick, Mission Viejo, CA, granddaughter, Meadoe Lamberson of TN, great-granddaughter and great-grandson, Makenna and Kaden Harrod, Azusa, CA.
John was born in Belford, NJ, March 21, 1933 and lived in Monmouth County, NJ until 1997 when he moved with his wife and his daughter and son-in-law's family to Mission Viejo, CA. John proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a machinist then for the Keansburg, NJ Department of Public Works before retiring and relocating. He was also a volunteer for the Keansburg First Aid Squad.
John loved to cook, tend to his garden, and fish. He was a huge fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants.
John was a loving husband, father and grandfather and would have spent every day fishing if he could have. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
John's wish was to be cremated, without a service, and have his ashes kept in the "Haunted Hutch" surrounded by the ashes of his beloved pets (Versailles, Prissy and M&M).
