Josephine M. Thompson (AKA Josie) age 89 resided in Laguna Woods, Ca passed away onApril 26, 2017. Born October 22, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to parents were Antonio and Josephine Iacono from Lipari, Italy. Josephine hadtwo Siblings, Catherine and John. She married Frank Thompson in Brooklyn, NY.
She worked as a seamstress for more than 60 years. She loved playing bingo with her friends.
Josephine was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Church and was an usher there for 23 years.
She is survived by daughter Elizabeth and her husband Tony, daughter Josephine AKA Cookie, son Richard and his wife Monica and daughter Francesca and her husband Chris.
She had 5 grandchildren as was known to them as Nana: Nicole, Erik, Elle, Trevor and Troy. She had two great grandchildren Grayson and Leland
Josephineenjoyed spending time with her family, she always said her children were her greatest gift to her. As she was to them.
