With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear mother, whose 8 year battle with breast cancer came to an end. Our mom, always said that we could be anything we wanted to be. She was a person you could easily depend on, and she constantly supported her children and grandchildren no matter what. She was our rock.

She had many talents. She was a nurse, specializing in neonatal intensive care to being an ordained minister. She was a master in sewing, and a renowned reborn artist. She loved to paint and make jewelry, and she loved to travel. There was nothing she could not do, and she did it all!

When we were growing up, our mom always made sure we were taken care of. She would sacrifice her own happiness for ours. Our Mom was a light in our lives, and she was a light in the lives of so many. She will be truly missed, not only by her children and grandchildren, but by all who had the honor of knowing her.

There are so many wonderful memories that come to mind when we think of her, that it would be impossible to pick a favorite. When her time was growing short in those last few days, she told each of us how much she loved us, and that time, will go in our memory banks as a cherished favorite memory. We were lucky to have such a great mother, and even luckier to have been able to spend so much time with her at the end of her life.

Our mom is with us today and always in our hearts. Words cannot express how much she meant to us and to all that were close to her. We know she is watching over us, and will be with us in spirit. Let us remember her as the strong, beautiful, loving person she was, and celebrate the life of an incredible woman as we honor her memory today.

She is survived by her children, Brenda, Laurie, Victoria, and Paul. She has 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was known by many as "Momma Joyce".

She will be greatly missed.
