Judy Ann Douglass of Laguna Woods, California (formerly of Columbia, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri) was born July 3, 1944 and passed away January 13, 2023 in Pleasanton, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H Douglass and her parents James Raymond Jones and Wanda Fay Jones Dietz. She is survived by her son Erich Ryan Douglass, daughter-in-law Alisha Dawn Douglass and grandsons Sebastian Theodore Douglass, August Damian Douglass of Dublin, California. She is also survived by her sisters Barbara Ross of Kansas City and Sandra Jorde of Laguna Woods, California and Cave Creek, Arizona.

Judy graduated from Hickman High School in 1962. She attended the University of Missouri, Coffeyville Community College, and Labette Community College in Kansas. Judy was an LPN and medical lab technologist in Kansas. She was a registered nurse in Missouri and retired from the North Kansas City School District in 2017.

Judy and her late husband Bob resided in Laguna Woods Village, Laguna Woods, California. Judy was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Laguna Woods.

Private gravesite services will be held at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, California

In lieu of flowers, the Douglass Family suggests donations to The American Arthritis Foundation or American Lung Foundation.
