June V. Buhl (nee) McConnell born August 6, 1920 passed away January 13, 2015 at the age of 94. She died peacefully with her son and daughter by her side. June joins her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Buhl who passed away 10 years ago almost to the day. She is survived by her two children, Ken A. (Bud) Buhl and Cheryl F. June attended Lorain High School where she met her future husband Kenneth Buhl. Out of high school she had a promising singing career and song with some top bands, but decided to marry her high school sweetheart Kenneth. They were married in 1940.

While he was overseas in the Navy June worked for the war effort at American Crucible. While June raised her family, she also was the key to her husbands success. June was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free;

I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way;

I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;

Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow;

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much;

Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me;

God wanted me now, He set me free.
