June Joyce Stotz Mills, age 90, of Stockton, CA, passed away in her sleep on Friday, September, 22, 2017 in Laguna Woods, CA. She was born to the late John and Elivina Stotz in the city of St. Paul, Minn April 26, 1927, her twin Jeanette died a day later due to complications.
June graduated from Central High School, Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1944. June enjoyed playingthe Clarinet in the High School band. The family moved to Stockton, CA, to help the War effort in late 1944. Her Father John worked as a Carpenter for the Navy during the remainder of the War. June soon joined the Bank of Stockton for an enjoyable 42 year career.
June is survived by her Son Michael, wife Mina Freitas, Daughter Kim Miller. In addition, Brother Richard, and two sisters, Rosemarie and Betty, her niece Tasha Doran, husband Joe, and Nephew John Perondi. June's oldest BrotherBuddy past away in 1978, (WWII Vet).
Arrangements will be provided by Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, CA, at a later date
June was avid Seamstress enjoyed making family costumes for holidays, Needlepoint, Crochet, beautiful rugs, she loved to make family recipes, her world famous Wax Peppersand Dill Pickles.She attended her annual Bank of Stockton summer Barbecue and always stayed connected to her friends, business contacts and loved animals,she had many dogs over the years.
Traveling the World and visiting National Parks with her husband Walter Mills, (WWII Vet) was her love. She had many photo albums of their trips.
We dearly love her and will miss BIG BLUE EYES!! Rest in Peace!
