Justin Jau-Chia Chang, born March 26, 1985, passed away in his sleep, on March 26, 2015, early in the morning of the day that he was to celebrate his 30th birthday.

Justin is survived by his Mother, Li-Yu Chang, of Ann Arbor Michigan, his Father Hong-Ging Chang, of Tainan, Taiwan, his Sister, Ching-Ya Tan, wife of Toon Shin Tan, of West Bloomfield, MI, both his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, many Aunts and Uncles, and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Justin was born in Tainan, Taiwan where he lived until, at the age of 9, his family moved to the United States, in 1994.

Justin graduated from Pioneer High School, in Ann Arbor, MI in 2003, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2007, and received his Nursing degree from Citrus College, in California, in 2011.

Justin was a very creative individual, as evidenced by his venture into the field of architecture, but his caring and compassionate character prompted him to return to school and pursue a career in nursing. Judging from the numerous comments made, not only by his co-workers, but also, by many of the patients he cared for, it is obvious that Justin made the right career choice.

Justin will be remembered as a great friend, and as a leader, who had a very positive effect on so many of the people who knew him and loved him.

Justin was passionate about life.

He loved to travel and see new things. He was constantly visiting family and friends in places like New York, Michigan, San Francisco, or, back home to Taiwan, to name a few. He had just recently returned from a vacation in the Caribbean, and had already made plans for future trips, including trips to Egypt, Europe, and a tour of Southern Asia.

Anyone who knew Justin, knows of his passion for food. Good food. And, yes, spicy food. Whenever Justin returned to visit family in Michigan, his Mother and Sister knew that they would have to make it a point to visit a few of his favorite restaurants.

He was passionate about his job and his patients. He was passionate about his car, and keeping it looking good. He was passionate about his clothes, and keeping himself looking good. He was passionate about his Family. He was passionate about his friends.

Justin was passionate about life.

He will be fondly remembered and greatly appreciated, always.
