Kathryn Kay Bryla Kling 96 of San Juan Capistrano Ca, formerly of Livingston NJ, devoted wife of Frank E. Kling and devoted mother , grandmother and great grandmother was born January 1, 1927, in Hamlin Va. One of nine children of Eva and Michael Bryla, Kay always wore a smile and was proud of her Polish heritage.  While Kay enjoyed listening to music like Andrea Bocelli and volunteering her time at St. Philomena's RC. Elementary School, family always came first and was of the utmost importance to Kay.  She and her siblings all lived their entire lives in and around "The Valley", and never missed an opportunity to come together for family celebrations and holidays finishing the events with a boisterous singing of Stolat!

Kay is predeceased by her husband of 70 yrs Frank E. Kling, in May 2021 and her sisters Ann, Helen, Mae and brothers Carl and Stanley.  She is survived by her sibling sisters Eve Grabowski of West Orange N.J. and Agnes Lee of Monroe Twp. NJ., and daughters Kathy Kling Drew of Ridge Md(Bill Drew). Carla Smith of Westminster Co, Lisa Kling Schwartz of Breinigsville Pa, and Frank Kling(Terry Kling) of San Clementi Ca., grand children Lauren Drew, Bethany Belinski, Derek Smith, Jordan Kirlin, Kaylyn Templeton, Kelly Klingsten, Kevin Kling, Samantha Schwartz, and Kimberly Schwartz, Great grandchildren Riggs, Rhett and Vaughn Templeton, and Quill Kirlin, nieces Linda Grabowski, Barbara Lee, Holly Zulus and Marilyn Sambach-Swomley and nephews John, Steve and Paul Grabowski, Richard Timinski, John Rowin, and Matthew Lee.

Burial will be at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, Ca. followed by a Celebration of Life on March 21 and a remembrance mass at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church in Livingston NJ followed by another Celebration of Life on May 7.
