Kaye Arlene Knutson Marseilles, born March 4, 1952 Sioux Falls South Dakota, passed peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in her San Juan Capistrano home. Kaye was lovingly known as mommy to Shannon, and as GG to her son in-law Tyler and grandchildren (Kyle, Kaden, Kale, Kolby, and Ellie) and all of their friends. Born to Orlin and Eunice Knutson, she has 4 sisters, Karen Viel, Nancy Lindsay, Donna Brady, and Vicki Gaines. Kaye moved back to California in 1979 with Shannon. In 1981 Kaye and Shannon moved to Laguna Beach California with Kaye's sisters, Nancy and Donna.

She worked in the Limousine and transportation industry for 37+ years. She owned and operated a limo and detail company with one of her very dear friends in Laguna Beach. Kaye then went on to work  as a sales manager for one of the largest limousine builders in the world. Kaye always spoke fondly of all the amazing friends and client's she met at the trade shows. Many of those friends described her as a "LEGEND" in the industry.

Kaye's pride and joy was being Shannon's mom, Tyler's mother in-law, and being GG to her 5 grandchildren. GG was so very proud of each of her grandchildren, but would just beam with pride over her 3 grandchildren who proudly serve in the US Navy.

Kaye's greatest pleasure in life was the time spent going to her grandchildren's school and sporting events. She would go to sporting events with her pop up chair and sun canopy always wanting to be on the sidelines to cheer and watch them play.

Kaye enjoyed many trips with her daughter, son in-law and grandchildren. They would spend time camping, visiting Hawaii, and going to Sioux Falls. Some of her favorite travels were the trips she took with her friends to Paris, England, Scotland, Montreal, and Alaska.

Kaye wanted to be remembered as a "Good Friend". She was a "GREAT FRIEND" and loved by all that met her.

Celebration of Kaye's life will be held Monday, July 1, 2024, 4:00 p.m. at El Adobe, 31891 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano.
