Kenneth Kui Heh, 96 years old, of Laguna Woods, CA, died, December 13, 2020, surrounded by his loving family due to the complications of gastric cancer.

He was born on May 27, 1924 inXi'an, China. Attended college in Mainland, China and was in charge of the Geology Department in the Chinese Petroleum Corporation in Taiwan. Dad worked for the REDECO oil company in the Philippines for 3 years. Then, Ken attended college in University of Indiana receiving a Master and doctoral degrees in Geophysics. Ken worked as a Senior Geophysicist and received many accolades his knowledge and skill.He is most proud of the oil well drilled in the Louisiana and for the oil found in Miaoli, Taiwan. His career as a Geophysicist honored Ken by attending the Taiwan Gwo Gen Hui. A government invited program for subject matter experts around the world.During this time, Ken met the President of Taiwan, Chiang-Ching-kuo.

He married Kuei-Shu Huang on July 31, 1957 and they had three children, Dr. Chris C.W. Heh; Frieda Heh and Cecilia Heh.

He was an avid stamp and coin collector, played bridge weekly at the Leisure World complex and loved watching basketball and football. Moreover, Ken was a supportive and loving father and grandfather to 7 grandsons.

Funeral Services will be December 18, 2020, 10 amat McCormick & Sons 1795 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.Interment and final resting place will occur Saturday, noon December 19, 2020 at El Toro Memorial Cemetery located at 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest CA 92630
