Obituary

Keven David Legere, born December 7, 1990, passed away on August 11, 2020 just prior to his 30th birthday.
Of the many wonderful things that can be said about Keven, his generous heart led him to be the incredible young man he was.
Keven was the kind of person you wanted as a friend; he would drop everything to help you out. Those who knew Keven described him as a great listener, a kind person, a true friend with a compassionate heart and a
soul to match. Kevens least favorite subject in school was "everything but auto shop". He was intelligent, and knowledgeable from an early age which helped to shape him into a natural born conversationalist. While school was not one of his great passions, his thirst for knowledge was obvious; as he loved watching historical documentaries; he truly loved learning.
Sadly, Keven suffered from severe depression, anxiety and Bi-Polar; before being diagnosed with life altering conditions, he turned to drugs as a way to help him cope with life. Ultimately, the combination of these things
led him to take his own life. Tortured for years by "demons'' that accompany mental health issues, and substance abuse disorder, Keven got to a point where he could no longer live with the immense pain.

Keven had a love for animals, especially his dog, Sugar. He was a walking encyclopedia on the topic of cars. He enjoyed archery, and target shooting. He had a talent for creating beautiful tropical fish aquariums.
As a child, he loved "boogie boarding" with his mom. They spent hours riding the waves in San Clemente; their favorite beach spot. As a young child he could be heard saying "I am stuck growing up in a house full of
women!", but he secretly loved it. Growing up with his mom, his aunt, and his grandmother was like having three moms; and three times the love.
As well, Keven loved his extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles and paternal grandparents. Over his lifetime, friends would come and go, but there were a few friends he considered to be "brothers". Ross
Salzberg, Andrew Dickie, Matt Cardinale, Matt Mattice. and Anthony Pugh(deceased). Having a friend who struggled as Keven did can be a challenge. He often felt lonely, and misunderstood. But these guys, his true friends, never stopped loving him.

Keven is survived by his mother, Barbara Legere, his aunt, Therese Legere, his father Thom Weatherby, and his Step-Mother, Becky Weatherby. Kevens extended family on his mother's side includes: his grandmother,
Margaret Legere (deceased), his Uncle, David A. Legere, his cousins: Dave and his wife, Cindy, Danielle and Ryan, and second cousins, Wyatt, Alexa, Liara and Landon. Kevens extended family, on his father's side includes: his step sister Amy Weatherby, and her daughters Carmen, and Brianna. His step-brother Montana Weatherby, his grandparents, Tom and Nancy Weatherby, his aunt, Linda Harper and her husband Kevin, his aunt, Cheryl Metha, and her husband, Nihar, along with his Uncle, Don Weatherby (deceased), cousins Crystal, Brandon, Lauren, Sammy and second cousin, James.
It's been said, no one will know you were here, if you don't leave a footprint. Keven David Legere left one heck of a footprint.

In our mind, in our heart, and in our soul, Keven will be missed, but never forgotten.
