FELLENZER, KEVIN MICHAEL, 60, of Laguna Niguel, California passed away on Thursday February 15, 2018.Kevin was born to Hank and Rose Fellenzer of East Dubuque, Illinois on June 1, 1957.Shortly after graduating from East Dubuque High School in 1975, Kevin relocated to Southern California to join his sister where he combined work experience with fun in the sun, some football playing, and the continuation of his formal education.He received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from San Diego State University in San Diego, California in 1987.

Kevin ultimately settled in Southern California where he met and married Janet (Anderson) in 1991.While living in Laguna Niguel, Kevin and Janet had two children.Their daughter Allison is currently a sophomore at the University of Arizona studying Elementary Education.Their son Eric, currently a senior at Dana Hills High School, recently committed to the University of Nevada – Reno to attend college and play football.

Kevin's successful and extremely busy career in Finance extended across numerous industries including construction, healthcare and hospital, ecommerce, distribution and manufacturing, insurance, and restaurants.During the course of his financial career Kevin gained expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting, treasury management and the software applications used therein.But this writer feels Kevin's career will be most remembered for his "extra" work.His professional life was filled with times when he assisted family, friends, and even people he barely knew.The many hours, days and weekends he gave to help people he cared about will never be forgotten.Kevin will also be remembered for his incredible love and dedication to family, his witty repartee, loyalty to friends, and uncanny will power to achieve any goal, any time, on time.

Kevin is survived by his wife Janet, his daughter Allison and his son Eric.He is also survived by his sisters Pat (Pat & Bob Vanderah), Susan (Susan & Richard Stark), Vicki (Foht), and his many nieces and nephews Tony & Stacy, Michelle & Mark, Missy & John, Marla & Jeff, Samantha, Madison, Cody, Makenna, Brennan ("Bubba"), Megan, Michaela, Mayson, Jake, and Corri.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please simply remember your special relationship with Kevin either privately in your thoughts or via contribution to your favorite charity.Memorial services will be held Saturday March 3rd at 2:00pm at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 24231 El Toro Road in Laguna Woods, California 92637.Funeral arrangements are being prepared by and electronic messages for the family may be left at McCormick & Son Mortuaries www.mccormickandson.com.
