Lenora Jean Jamosky Raia, born January 11, 1944 in Long Beach, CA passed peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2020 in Tustin, CA from Covid-19. Lorrie was the daughter of Corrine (DeSalvo) and Felix Jamosky. She was known by friends and family as Lorrie or Lori. Lorrie was a ray of sunshine, beloved by friends and family. She was vibrant, full of life, compassionate, and deeply religious. She was known for her loving nature and her ability to uplift anyone who was lucky enough to know her. She was strikingly beautiful, both inside and out.
Lorrie went to Jordan High School in Long Beach, CA and graduated in 1962. She was a dedicated public servant, serving for 34 years in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, beginning in 1965. Her assignments as a deputy sheriff included Vice, Parole, and Forgery-Fraud. She retired as a Sergeant in 1999 after a distinguished career.
Lorrie was a dog lover, having raised several Golden Retrievers including Lily, Daisy and her favorite dog, Sandy. She was generous and charitable and dedicated her time to training Sandy to become a therapy dog for children and people in nursing homes. Her constant love was felt by friends and family and carried into every aspect of her life. Lorrie loved to travel and took many trips to other places, including Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Alaska, and Hawaii. On many of these adventures, she visited family and friends, creating memories that will never be forgotten.
Lorrie has left a lasting impact in the lives of all who knew her. The love and light that she brought to this world will live on forever.

Preceded in death by: her parents, Corrine and Felix Jamosky, her "second parents" Uncle Leonard (Lee) and Aunt Lee Jamosky and many other aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held on August 4th, 2020, at 2:00 pm at McCormick and Son Mortuary, 25002 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, California.She will be interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Long Beach, California.
