It is with deep sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Leopoldo Torio, who was called home to the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2026. Born on November 14, 1946, Leopoldo lived a full and meaningful life devoted to family, service, and faith.

Leopoldo proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, dedicating 22 years to serving and protecting the country he was proud to call home, the United States of America. During his time in the Navy, he met the love of his life, Evangeline. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two children.

After being stationed throughout the United States, the family ultimately settled in Lake Forest, CA. Following his military retirement, Leopoldo devoted his time to helping raise his children while beginning the next chapter of his career. He later continued his commitment to public service with the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated another 10 years before retiring once again.

Leopoldo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He cherished the time with his 4 grandchildren and brought warmth to those around him through his outgoing spirit and conversations with everyone he met. Though he is no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with loved ones who have gone before him.
