Lily Arce was born in Nicaragua on March 19, 1919 and entered into eternal life on January 17, 2016, exactly 16 years after her sister Inez entered into eternal life.
Lily was a master teacher in Nicaragua and taught kindergarten for 50 years.
She had two sisters and one brother. Her brother Rodolfo was a banker in Nicaragua, her sister Inez was a teacher and her best friend in fact Lily helped Inez raise her 7 children and was like a mother to them and a grandmother to their children. She also helped her other sister Maria Teresa also a teacher with her three children.
She is survived by her sister Maria Teresa, her 15 nephews and nieces- which she loved as her own children ,32 great-nephews and nieces and 15 great grand nephews and nieces.
Lily was not only our aunt she was our mother, our grandmother, our great grandmother. Lily was the link to our family traditions, values and culture and we will honor and respect everything she taught us which was mainly to love one another and keep the family always together. Even at the age of 96 she was up for an adventure, laugh, and sharing her love with us all. She amazed and touched everyone who she encountered.
Thank you Lily for loving us, for teaching us to be strong and to never ever lose sight of our beautiful family traditions.
You will live in our hearts always
Love the Baldizon familia
