Louis A. Mazzarini Jr. was born in Bingham Canyon Utah on December 27, 1928 to Louis A., Sr. and Elena Mazzarini. He was the second oldest child of 6 siblings. As a young man Louis (fondly referred to as Junior) worked in the family masonry contracting business called Louis A. Mazzarini & Sons Masonry Contractor. In 1952 Junior entered into the United States Army for a number of years. Following his service in the Military he continued to work in the family business with his father.2 of the special projects that he was particularly proud of were the church is Butte Montana and St. Joseph church in Pomona where he built the Altars. In 1960 Junior and Matilda met and started a lifelong relationship. Around this time, his father retired from the Masonry business and Junior began running the family business under a different name called Artistic Masonry.
Shortly after their marriage in 1961, Junior and Matilda began their family and had 2 sons Louis M. and Anthony. Several years later he worked for a short time at the Cucamonga Winery supervising bottling and the crushing of grapes with additional responsibilities. In 1968 Junior began a new career at the Metropolitan Water Company for which he stayed until his retirement in 1988. During this time, the boys grew up in their family home in Ontario. Their childhood memories were filled with their father's love of tinkering and fixing.Junior frequently went to the swap meet to purchase electrical items such as t.v.'s and car radios. He would bring them home and teach his 2 sons how to repair and replace them.
In 2013 Junior and Matilda left their home of 52 years in Ontario and moved to Orange County to be close to their two sons and grandchildren. As life presented it's challenges and many changes Junior never lost sight that his family was most important. Junior was an excellent provider, husband, father, and grandfather. At the time of his passing Junior and Matilda had been married for 56 years. Junior is survived by his 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.
