Lydia Manahan Santos, born October 13, 1932 in Bustos, Bulacan, Philippines, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach.

As the oldest daughter of Nasario and Leonora Santos, Lydia was affectionately known as Ating to her 12 siblings. A talented seamstress and devout Catholic, she spent much of her time sewing, caring for her siblings and their children, and running the family store. She loved her family and friends and was often surrounded by them in her home in the Philippines, where her door was open to everyone.

She is survived by nine siblings, 29 nieces and nephews, 23 grandnieces/nephews, and 10 great-grandnieces/nephews, who all reside in various parts of the world.

Services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Santiago de Compostela Church and El Toro Memorial Park.
