M. Dale Jackson, born November 11, 1931, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2019 at his home in Lake Forest, CA. Born to Agnes and Dale Jackson in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, he was raised in Michigan and Wisconsin, attending the University of Michigan, where he earned his BBA and MBA.

Soon after graduating, Dale headed west to Southern California and started his career in Branch Operations at Security Pacific National Bank. During his first several years at the bank, he held many positions of increasing responsibility, ending up in the bond department of the bank. It was during this time that he met Patricia Borel and they were married on February 7, 1959 in Los Angeles. They had four children - Randy, Dana, Laura, and Chris – along with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dale ended his career at Security Pacific in 1984 after 30 years where he left as Sr. Vice President of the Investments Department. He served on several committees including the Municipal Securities Committee and US Government and Federal Agencies Committee. He was also a member of the Special Advisory Committee to the U.S. Treasury for Debt Management from 1971 – 1984 and served under seven U.S. Secretaries of the Treasury.

Dale's personal interests included playing golf, which he continued playing until his death. He had two hole-in-ones during his life. He worked as a rules official and committeeman for the SCGA for almost 30 years and also did some work as a rules official with the Southern California PGA. Dale was a gamesman who enjoyed playing cribbage, dominos, backgammon, and pinochle. He also spent many years impressively playing shuffleboard in a league in his neighborhood.He loved great food and wine and was passionate about sports, always rooting for his beloved Michigan Wolverines.He set the example of living life with class, patience and humility. Dale was a smart, funny, and attentive gentleman, husband, father, and grandfather. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family, particularly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He and Pat were constantly taking trips out to Palm Desert or Fresno to be able to spend time with them and be involved in their lives.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday September 28, 2019, 12pm, at the Forest Garden Clubhouse, 24001 Muirlands Blvd, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
