IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Madison
Stanton
October 1, 1990 – January 20, 2023
Henry Madison Stanton, 32, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2023, at his home in Aliso Viejo, CA.
Madison, more affectionally called 'Bear' by his mom, grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended the Winston School. He next attended Texas Tech University and was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He never missed watching his Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed hunting in West Texas with his friends and especially his dad. He loved music and writing, was involved in MMA, never saw a hamburger he didn't like and probably got a few more tattoos than his mom would have wanted.
After struggling for years with addiction, Madison committed to and successfully completed the treatment program at Rob's Ranch in Oklahoma – a very proud moment for him. It was there where he regained his self-esteem, changed his outlook on life, grew his faith and became the man his friends and family knew he could.
In December 2021, Madison met the love of his life, Rachel, and later moved to Southern California to begin a wonderful life he had worked so hard for. He left us way too soon but will always be remembered for his smile, sense of humor, friendliness, and love of life.
Madison is survived by his mother Jill Taylor Stanton and his fiancé Rachel Malin, Uncle Blake Taylor and Jan Kelly, Aunt Tracy Taylor Mills and husband Charlie, cousins Brett Taylor and wife Ellie, Meggie Taylor Schissler and husband John, Taylor Mills Shorrosh and husband Andrew, Will Taylor and wife Mallory, Jaclyn Mills Carter and husband Colton, great Aunt Jill Byrne Hoilien and Jack Ensminger, Godmother Janie Traeger, as well as extended family Ashlee and Jon Newton.
He is predeceased by his father Lynn Vance Stanton, half-brother Mark Stanton, grandparents Cecile and Henry Vance Stanton, Grandmother Beverly Taylor, and Grandfather Tom Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers are Garry and Rhonna Malin, Alex and Kristen Malin, Hannah Malin, Bret and Bryana Martin.
A memorial service will be held at the Oak Hills Country Club in Ada, Oklahoma at noon on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
