IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Maeve Mcgrail
Anderson
August 19, 1935 – December 29, 2022
Maeve McGrail Anderson was born on August 19, 1935 in Worcester Massachusetts to the parents of Dominick and Mary McGrail whom were Irish immigrants. She took pride in her Irish roots. Her sense of humor and dry wit will be missed. She was extremely stoic until the end. She was an independent, strong-minded, educated and a hard-working lady. She loved to see the world. She enjoyed traveling and went on a lot of exciting trips and adventures. She had three children James Anderson, Sharon Anderson-Osborne and Cathleen Anderson. She majored in history at California State Fullerton where she received a Bachelor's degree in history. She enjoyed discussions on History, Geography and Politics. Maeve retired from The Los Angeles Times, where she worked for many years. She was proceeded in death by her daughter Cathleen, her parents, Dominick and Mary McGrail and her Sister Mary King (Polly). She leaves behind her son James Anderson, daughter Sharon Osborne and Son-in-law John Osborne. In addition, her grandchildren Beth Valenciano (Husband Samuel), Meaghan Aplin (husband Sean). Rayne Darnley and Micayla Osborne. Plus, Great Grandchildren Calliegh Ryan, Becca Ryan, Sarah Ryan, Ragnar Valenciano, Julie Aplin, Maggie Aplin, and John Aplin. Her bothers Dominick and Sean McGrail and sister Grawnea McGrail. Plus, many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many. Rest in peace Maeve.
