Our beloved Marco Alvarez Bejarano, born August 17, 1995, in Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away in a motorcycle accident in Fountain Valley, California, on January 6, 2020. Born to Arbey and Lilliana Bejarano, he has four siblings; Cristian Camilo Bejarano, Sarah Peltakian, Harvey Bejarano, and Izabella Bejarano. Marco moved with his family to California in 2002.
Fearless. Joyous. Bold. Marco was approachable and was always able to meet each individual at their level. He had a way of connecting with those he met. He knew no boundaries and felt most at peace when he was out in nature basking in God's creation. His ability to capture the beauty in his surroundings was evident in his photographs. He was enchanting… the life of the party. From his Colgate smile to his ability to talk his way out of any situation, Marco was utterly and indescribably unique. Marco's presence illuminated any room he stepped in. His charming personality and contagious smile attracted many to him.
Since he was young, Marco always had a passion for motorcycles. Over the years, his love for riding flourished and he found immense fulfillment in modifying his motorcycles. Marco and his father had just finished fixing his bike the day before the accident and was so excited to ride again. We find peace in knowing that he passed away doing what he loved most. One of the many ways Marco bonded with his father was by playing chess. The night before the accident, Marco and his dad put a chess game on hold. Sadly, this chess game was left unfinished. However, resting in God's promise, we know that we will meet again and the match will resume.
Marco's visitation will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at McCormick & Son Mortuary in Laguna Hills, California.
