Margaret Mary Hart was born on February 17, 1926 and passed away on November 19, 2015 at the age of 89 in Laguna Hills, CA of natural causes. She is survived by her sons: Jack, Dick, Chris, and Matt; daughters: Vickie and Karen; stepsons: Al, Ron, and Rick; 26 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
Maggie was born in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada to her parents, Edward and Lulu Long. She was sister to Everett, Lewis, and Walter Long. She was first married to Wayne Lang, then Monte Holke, and lastly to Richard Hart. Maggie grew up in Canada and Iowa, and later lived in Southern California and settled in Laguna Niguel for 40 years. For the last six years she was a resident of the wonderful community of Sea Bluffs in Dana Point, CA.
After having six children, Maggie went to college at Cal Poly Pomona where she got a degree in Computer Programming. She then started her own business, Application Development Services. Later in life, she also achieved a dream of becoming a published writer. However, she wasn't all business and loved to travel in her free time. She travelled all throughout the United States, and visited Europe, Israel, and China.
Maggie loved her family, her religion, travel, nature, art, and was a voracious reader. Maggie was a treasured friend to many. She was known for her sharp wit, wonderful sense of humor, and positive attitude. Maggie adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
Family of friends of Maggie are invited to attend a vigil on Friday November 27, 2015 at McCormick and Son Mortuary in Laguna Hills from 7pm-9pm. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Timothy's in Laguna Niguel at 11am. For further information please see below.
