Maria Lynn Jankowski was born in Culver City, California on May 29, 1963. She entered Heaven's gates on Thursday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 59.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Maria was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and crocheting intricate hats, scarves, and blankets for her loved ones. She also enjoyed watching the Turner Classic Movie channel and cooking channels with her daughters Alexandra and Christine. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed attending and watching football, baseball, and hockey games with her son and husband.

Maria was predeceased by her mother Diane Terry, her sister Cassandra Lynn, and cherished grandparents Lydia and Alexander Strausheim. Maria is survived by her husband, Philip, her children Tasha Harris and husband Sean, Anthony Jankowski, Alexandra Jankowski, and Christine Jankowski; her grandsons Liam Patrick and Connor Alan; her sisters DeeDee Lobo and Valerie Arauz and her father Donald Strausheim.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at McCormick & Sons Mortuaries in Laguna Hills, California. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held from 11:00 - 12:00 PM.

Her graveside service will follow at El Toro Memorial Park at 1:00PM in Lake Forest, California.

Maria had a steadfast faith in God. We are comforted in knowing she is resting and watching over us all.
