Maria Dolores Vigil born September 19, 1943 to Nellie Rodriguez and Ismael Garcia passed away November 11, 2014 at the age of 71 in Laguna Woods, California. She spent her final days surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her 3 children, Bobby, Jill, and Lisa and by her son-in-law Steve Gladen and her 2 grandchildren, Erika & Ethan.

Maria, also known as Dolores, Deedee, and Lola was born in Burbank, CA. and lived most of her early life in the San Fernando Valley. She was the fifth-born of 10 siblings and was also surrounded by many aunts, uncles and cousins as she grew up. Family gatherings and celebrations were very common throughout her life, so the family and raising her children were always her main focus.

Maria loved arts and crafts, collecting miniatures, shopping, camping and playing cards. She loved watching BBC programs, especially "The Last of the Summer Wine", and old classic TV shows. Her favorite and main hobby though was spending as much time as possible with her grandkids. Maria's smile, affection, and wit will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Private services will be 11:00am Dec.13, 2014 in the Plaza Room at Saddleback Community Church, Lake Forest, CA.
