Maria Wirth, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Fountain Valley, on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Born in Bamberg, Germany, Maria had one sister, Lydia (passed).  Maria moved with her husband and oldest daughter to Long Beach, California to join her husbands family in 1960.

Maria worked as a seamstress while living in Germany, however when she immigrated to the states, she became a chef/cook at several local restaurants.  Maria and her husband Erich, owned a small restaurant in Cypress, Ca – The Gourmet Deli, which she and her husband ran for several years before retiring.  Maria and Erich had 4 children, 3 girls and a boy.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  She loved going camping up the coast with her family, traveling to see her family in Germany and spending Sundays at Old World in Huntington Beach.

Maria is survived by her 3 daughters, Isabella and husband Johnny, Renee and husband Taylor, and Michelle, and her son Erich and wife Jodi.  She has eight grandchildren, Lindsey, Krystle, Alyssa, Alana, Taylor Jr., Kayla, Preston and Adam.  She also has 7 great grandchildren, Addisyn, Shane, Julianna, Wesley, Jameson, and twins Blakely and Brooksen.

Maria was an amazing, loving, devoted mother who will be missed by so many.
