Marie Theresa Ribaudo age 88 of Lake Forest California passed away May 11 ^th , 2023, Marie left us peacefully in her sleep after having a stroke.

Marie was born September 19th, 1934, in Brooklyn New York. A first-generation Italian American, the 5th child of 6 to Jack and Mary Ribaudo. Marie loved being a New Yorker she would sit on her stoop and listen to the Brooklyn Dodgers play. She loved visiting Coney Island. Even though she had left New York in the 1950s for the remainder of her life she kept her New York accent.

Marie met her future husband Joe Desgro at her sweet 16th birthday party. They dated and became engaged. Joe served in the Korean War, and they were married when he returned home November 27 ^th , 1954. They lived in an apartment on the top level of her parents' home.

Marie began her career in a typing and Steno Pool. Advancing to Secretarial positions. Marie had a very successful career as an Escrow Officer and running a Trucking Company. She could type over 120 wpm and was quick with financial computations.

She was also known for being an outstanding cook. Nothing made her happier than to have all her family cooking with her in the kitchen. Marie enjoyed spending time with her grandkids teaching them how to make Italian S cookies. A recipe past down from her own mother Mary.

Marie is survived by her son Jack and his wife Claire, her 2nd son Perry and his wife Debbie and her daughter Brenda and her husband Mike. Marie had 8 grandchildren Matthew, Amy, Stacy, Tony, Dominic, Janina, Nicholas, Marissa. She had 6 Great Grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Kole, David, Finnley, and Westin.
