Marion L (Holmes) Alf was born on July 12, 1925 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and went to heaven on November 30, 2015. She was 90 years old.

She graduated from Elk Mound High School, in Elk Mound, WI in 1944. In 1949, Marion married Richard Alf, and they remained married until her death.



She and Richard moved to Winona, MN in 1956, and were the owners of Alf Photography for many years. They were also one of the founding owners of Wincraft, Inc. Marion also owned and managed Abundant Life Center, a Christian book and natural food store located in Winona.

In 1973, she surrendered her Life to Jesus Christ and her life's emphasis changed to serving the Lord through studying and teaching the Bible. Marion graduated from The Institute of Ministry and received her ministerial license.

In 2000, Richard and Marion moved to Southern California to retire and enjoy the sunshine.

Marion was the mother of three children, Thomas (Debra) of Robinsdale, MN, Nancy (Ron) of Westminster, CA and Daniel of Long Beach, CA. Marion and Richard were also foster parents to Beverly Heftman of Winona. Marion has 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

There will be a gravesite service on December 9th, at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA
