Marjorie Ann Varrato, a devoted caregiver and beloved family matriarch, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Forest, California, on April 18, 2026, after a courageous and prolonged battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on December 23, 1937, in Middletown, Connecticut, Marjorie lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and an unwavering spirit.

Marjorie’s 40-year career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) reflected her deep commitment to helping others. After retiring in 1999, her legacy within the healthcare community endured as a testament to her tireless dedication.

Family was always at the heart of her existence, where her strength, courage, and bravery were evident each day. She was known as fun to be around, infusing joy into ordinary moments, and fostering a loving environment for all who knew her.

An avid swimmer her entire life, Marjorie’s love of the water was a lifelong passion. Her years as a lifeguard highlighted her strong character and concern for the safety and well-being of others. Her affinity for the pool remained, embodying a spirit both active and nurturing.

Marjorie’s family remembers her with immense love and gratitude. She shared a remarkable 67 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Ralph.
